1" ID Stub out bracket. These are designed to allow exterior wall penetrations for wire while leaving plenty of room to mount devices to the wall afterwards. Many devices will not fully cover a single gang mud ring, or there is little room left to mount the device. When you are ready to install the device or cap, just pop the side of the tube with a flathead screwdriver where you want it to break, and it will break cleanly, flush with the final finish. These brackets provide a flashing to make waterproofing easier (we are seeing this become a requirement in many areas). The optional paintable cap makes it easy to prewire for future devices on spec homes etc. Just tie the wire to the cap and silicone the cap in place. When it's time to install the device, just pull the cap out and the wire comes with it.
